Rate my Voice has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the sexualisation of minors, grooming, sextortion, and any attempt to solicit or arrange contact with a child for sexual purposes are prohibited without exception. This is not a matter of degree or context: an account used for any of it is removed, and the content is preserved for the authorities rather than quietly deleted.
Rate my Voice is rated for users aged 13 and over and is not designed for, or directed at, children under 13. We do not knowingly allow under-13 accounts. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove the account and everything posted from it.
Users record a voice clip of up to 60 seconds and post it. Other users rate it, like it and comment on it. There is no private messaging, no direct chat, no photo or video upload, no location sharing and no way to find a user by proximity — every interaction happens in public, on a post, where it can be seen and reported by anyone. This is a deliberate limit on the product: the private, one-to-one channel is where grooming usually happens, and this app does not have one.
Every post carries a Report action in its menu, available to every signed-in user, with a reason and a free-text field for detail. Every user can also block another user, which removes that person's posts and comments from their view immediately and server-side.
Reports about child safety should use the report action and, where the situation is urgent or serious, be emailed directly to support@ratemyvoice.site. You do not need an account to email us.
Where we identify CSAM or credible CSAE conduct we remove the content, terminate the account, and report to the relevant national authority — the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the National Crime Agency (NCA) in the United Kingdom, and the competent authority in the user's own jurisdiction where one is designated. We preserve the associated content and account data for those authorities for as long as the applicable law requires, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
We comply with the child safety laws applicable to us, including the UK Online Safety Act 2023 and the EU Digital Services Act, and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
Contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to us does not replace contacting the police. In the United Kingdom you can also report to the IWF; in the United States, to NCMEC's CyberTipline; in Türkiye, to İhbarweb.
Our designated point of contact for child safety, including questions from Google, regulators and law enforcement, is support@ratemyvoice.site. Written enquiries can also be sent to LALETTAYIN LTD at the address above.
